For students of Grade 5 standard and above, wishing to improve their technical and interpretive skills. Students are invited to bring a piece they would like to work on and perform. This workshop is non-competitive and each entrant will be allocated 20 minutes.

Up to three compositions of any style for any combination of instruments and/or voice. Words, if used, need not be original, but the source must be acknowledged if not. The recording can be used as a 'performance' on the day or composers may bring their own musicians for a live performance. This will form an essential part of the class although the adjudicator's assessment will not be changed to the detriment of the entrant following the performance. If a recording is to be played please email the Piano Secretary in advance to state this. A composition not heard will be adjudicated but not marked. The entry of a composer who does not attend the class will be adjudicated but not placed.
