The Dance Festival is to encourage and promote the performance and enjoyment of dance. Aiming particularly, but not exclusively at young people, it provides a challenge and unique opportunity to perform in a competitive and non-competitive situation in front of an adjudicator.

The Festival is run with the help of our volunteers. If you are interested in becoming part of the dance committee, please let us know.
The festival will be held on 29th May – 1st June 2019 at Queen’s Hall, Queen’s College, Taunton.

Child Protection Policy and the Health and Safety Policy.

If you are placed 1st 2nd or 3rd, the festival will award you with a medal. You can buy medals and lanyards for the group sections.
Jayne trained at Elmurst and the Royal Ballet School (TTC). She performed professionally in musical theatre and cabaret and choreographed/produced shows for cruise ships. She was Principal of her own theatre arts school and later appointed Director of Dance at Stonelands. Currently Jayne teaches the RBS Junior Associates and is a tutor and lecturer for the ISTD. She is also an adjudicator for both The British and International Federation of Festivals and All England Dance.
